We will kick off the Festival with an introduction into Amazon's culture delivered by our senior leaders. The intro presentation will be followed by a panel with members of Amazon’s Affinity Groups such as Women@Amazon and Black Employee Network who will give insights into different employee groups you can join when you start with Amazon. Both sessions will give you some invaluable information on what it's really like to work at Amazon. Finally, Health & Wellbeing is something we are passionate about at Amazon and our last session of the day will include a relaxing meditation. Sit back, relax and enjoy the first day of the Festival!
The day will begin with a session from our Women’s Event Series which will give you tips on navigating your career path, covering topics like what role mentors can play in your professional development. The second session of the day will be hosted in partnership with Amazon’s Black Employee Network and will talk about how to thrive in a corporate environment. Join us in celebration of the Black History Month in the UK!
The first session of the day will include an exciting guest, Mista Strange who will share his tips on how to launch your career and overcome any career-related obstacles. The second session will be organised in partnership with glamazon, Amazon's Affinity Group which includes both LGBTQ+ employees and allies. It will give you a chance to learn about how to be your authentic self at work. Finally, you will hear from iConnect, a global community and network run by introverts for [not only] introverts to promote personality and thought as part of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. They will offer advice on how to be an introvert in a corporate world.
Join us for an informative CV & Interview Skills Workshop delivered by Amazon Student Programs Recruiters. The purpose of the workshop is to give you insight into Amazon's recruitment process and share tips for success. After the workshop, recent graduates will provide you with more advice where you will be able to get your questions answered in a Live Q&A.
